About - Life Rewritten
Life doesn’t always snap cleanly into “before” and “after”, but mine came very close.
A major health shock, big surgery, and a long, messy recovery changed more than just my body. It shifted how I see time, trust, control, and who I thought I was. A lot of it hasn’t been neat or inspiring. It’s been slow, uncertain, and often very ordinary.
I’m still in that process. Still healing. Still working out what “normal” looks like now.
Life Rewritten is where I make sense of that.
I’m not here to offer miracle cures, five-step formulas, or forced positivity. I’m just a man trying to rebuild his life after everything tilted, using a mix of honesty, reflection, and the tools we have available now — including tech and AI.
What you’ll find here
A few threads run through most of what I write:
Healing
Not just the medical side, but the emotional hangover: the scans, the waiting, the doubt, the way your brain tries to protect you by shutting doors you’re not ready to open yet.
Rebuilding
Small routines, small wins, and the slow work of putting a life back together when your energy, confidence, or body aren’t where they used to be.
Tech that helps
Apps, AI, and systems that make it a little easier to organise thoughts, track things, remember questions for appointments, create structure, or just take some weight off your brain.
Reflections
Shorter pieces – things I’ve noticed, shifts in perspective, or the kind of thoughts that usually stay in your head and never get said out loud.
What this isn’t
This isn’t a medical advice site.
It’s not a motivational brand.
I’m not here as an expert, a coach, or a finished product.
I’m writing from the middle, not from the end.
If you’re going through your own version of “everything changed” — illness, burnout, grief, or something else entirely — you might recognise some of what shows up here. If it helps you feel a bit less alone, or gives you one useful idea, then this is worth doing.
Staying in touch
If you’d like to follow along, you can subscribe for occasional updates — I write when there’s something real to say, not on a content schedule.

If you’d like the full story
I’ve written the journey as a timeline — from the moment everything changed, to where I am now, and the chapters still unfolding.
